This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was absolutely perfect. Situated just off the bustling streets of Amritsar, it offered a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle while still being within close proximity to all the main attractions. Secondly, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They spoke excellent English and went out of their way to assist us with our sightseeing plans, including arranging a cab for us to visit the Wagah border. Lastly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, equipped with excellent AC - an absolute necessity in the scorching +45-degree heat.
All in all, this hotel provided a fantastic stay and I couldn't fault a single thing.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. The complementary chocolates and wine were a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location was amazing, within walking distance of excellent dining options and a beautiful museum. The room was spacious and cozy, with comfortable bedding.
there was no soundproofing between the rooms, so we could hear our neighbors. The air conditioning unit was difficult to control, but the staff provided an extra blanket when we asked.

I recently stayed at Backpacker'S Nest for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The location is great, with easy access to the train station and the Golden Temple. The staff, especially the friendly female receptionist, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They even gave me a lift on a scooter when they saw me in town! The double room I stayed in was cozy and well-equipped with hot water, a fan, and air conditioning. The owner, Rajesh, was always available to offer helpful advice and even accompanied me to the phone shop when I had trouble getting a sim card. a fantastic stay with excellent service.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Great value for money. the hot water was available anytime, which was a big plus. the staff were really friendly and understanding, making the stay enjoyable. the location was ideal, with Jallianwala Bagh just a 10-minute walk away and the Golden Temple only 15 minutes away. Perfect for all kinds of travelers, whether solo, with friends, as a couple, or with family. Highly recommend!
That there were no organized guided tours to Wagah border, so you would have to arrange it yourself. Another issue was that the room had some issues, like finding a spent cigarette end in the bathroom and a dangerous setup with the bathroom light switch positioned directly under the shower head, causing electric shocks.
